MyQuants - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets out to show how MyQuants handles your Personal Data. It explains how our organisation stores and processes any Personal Data we collect from you when using our Application Software or Web Portal services.

What data do we collect?

In the process of registering for our free or paid services, and by using our Application Software and Web Portal, we collect the minimum legal information required to facilitate the Customer Contract in compliance with our End User License Agreement (EULA) and Terms and Conditions of use.

This includes, but is not limited to such Personal Data as “Name”, “Address”, “Email Address” and “Contact Details” or any other additional information as is necessary to uniquely identify and authenticate the End User onto the system.

How do we collect your data?

This data is collected as part of the registration process when the End User registers for an account directly on the Web Portal, in addition to any data that may be entered voluntarily by the End User once registered.

How we use your data?

We only use your Personal Data to authenticate the End User for security purposes and in the performance of our contract with the End User to provide our services.

From time to time, we may also use your data to facilitate support activities or to enhance our services to the End User.

How do we store your data?

Any Personal Data collected by us is stored in an encrypted format within our secure Private Cloud facilities hosted within the UK, with restricted access limited to only our Organisation's IT staff.

No Personal Data is transferred outside of the UK for processing, or copied to any other country outside of the EEA. Data in an anonymised format may be shared with our authorised partners who have a legitimate interest, or for statistical purposes.

Marketing?

We do not “Resell”, “Share” or “Pass On” any Personal Data to any other third parties, and do not use this data for any other marketing purposes, other than in the performance of the contract, fulfilment of support activities or enhancement of our services to the End User.

We may from time to time seek to provide our End Users with marketing information relating to specific product updates and enhancements, but will only do so with the explicit knowledge and consent of our End Users.

What are your data protection rights?

You have the right to;

• Request access to the Personal Data which we hold about you.

• Request that this Personal Data be corrected, limited or deleted.

• Object to and restrict any further processing of your Personal Data.

• Request that any Personal Data we hold about you be given back in machine readable format.

If you believe that we have not treated your Personal Data in accordance with the regulations, then you also have the right to submit a complaint to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).

However, should you wish to exercise any of your rights as a data subject, we suggest in the first instance, submitting a Data Subject Access Request through our support email available at all times on the Web Portal; support@myquants.co.uk

MyQuants Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on a user's computer during a Web Browser session. They are designed to hold small amounts of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer.

Thus, allowing the server to deliver a page tailored to a particular End User, or the page itself to contain script which is aware of the data in the cookie, enabling it to pass information from one visit to the website (or related sites) to the next.

How do we use Cookies?

We do not use any “Crypto Miners”, “Finger Printers” or “Social Media Trackers” of any kind, and limit our Cookie usage to only “Essential” or “Strictly Necessary” cookies.

MyQuants only uses the most necessary Cookies to provide enhanced security to our Web Portal services, gather statistical anonymised data about the use of the Web Site, or for enhancing the Web Site to provide the End User with the best possible experience.

Changes to our Privacy or Cookie Policies

We reserve the right to amend or update these Policies at any time without prior notice, effective immediately from the time of publishing.
